Electronics are ONLY accepted at the Authority Office location,

507 Manor Dr., Ebensburg, PA 15931.

   

  • Appointments required for large quantities, bulky items and for

                     unloading assistance.

  • CLOSED all Cambria County holidays.
  • CAMBRIA COUNTY RESIDENTS ONLY!
  • NO after-hours deliveries!
  • CASH or CHECK only!
  • NO COMMERCIAL or INSTITUTIONAL MATERIALS!
  • DO NOT bring items/material into the office.  All deliveries must back into the driveway in front of the blue storage building as indicated.
  • The Authority does not provide any curbside collection or residential pick-up.
  • The Authority reserves the right to turn away deliveries.

  CRT TVs & monitors -  (a.k.a picture tube TVs)

   Small (less than 27" diagonal)  = $ donation;  

   Large (27+” diagonal) = $5 

   Console/cabinet = $10.  

       There is added $5 safety fee for TVs not intact  or with excessive filth.


  HD Digital Flat Screen TV or monitor :   

    small =$$ donation    

   large (45"+ diagonal)  = $5

   XL (60+") = $10

       $5 safety charge for TV/monitor not intact or excessively dirty

        Note: for glass picture tube TV's that are "flat" refer to CRT TV sizing.


  PROJECTOR TV

   "table top" (less than 44" at widest point and less than 32" tall) = $10

    "free-standing' large cabinet projector TV = $20

      Add $5  safety fee for TV's that are not intact or otherwise present 

       a safety hazard.

          (no holiday type string lights accepted)

“$$ donation” = please make a cash donation to help offset the expense to handle, process, prepare and warehouse each item to be recycled.


DO NOT DELIVER OR DEPOSIT Items without Authority Staff present, NO SELF-SERVE.

ILLEGAL DUMPING IS SUBJECT TO CRIMINAL PROSECUTION AND FINES!


*THE AUTHORITY RESERVES THE RIGHT TO REFUSE THE DELIVERY OF ANY AND ALL ITEMS FOR ANY REASON.

*Unloading assistance is available for a $$$ donation.


*Please back into the unloading area.  We will not carry your items from the roadway.

BIG BLUE BIN RECYCLING PROGRAM

 The following materials are the ONLY items accepted at the Big Blue Bins.  Other items are NOT to be deposited or left at the bins.  All listed materials must be properly prepared in order to be recycled.  Questions? Call (814) 472-2109


  • Newspapers
    • All newspapers and glossy inserts
    • No film-plastic sleeve cover (these can be recycled at most major grocers)
    • Put newspaper in the bin loose. Do not bag, tie or bundle.
  • Magazines/catalogs
    • Magazines, catalogs and similar periodicals
    • Put in bin loose. Do not bag, tie or bundle.
  • Corrugated Cardboard
    • Corrugated ONLY, (hint:  Look for the wavy middle layer, or ridges)
    • NO CHIPBOARD, NO PASTE BOARD (NO CRACKER, NO CEREAL, NO SODA or similar type boxes)
    • NO packing materials. Dispose of all packing material with curbside garbage
    • Flatten and put corrugated cardboard in bin loose 
    • Do not leave boxes outside the bins, flatten and put in collection bin.
  • Aluminum and Bi-metal Cans
    • Beverage cans, soup and other food cans
    • Empty and rinse cans. Put in bin loose. Crush cans to save space.
  • #1 & #2 Plastic Bottles and Jugs
    • Soda, juice, shampoo, detergent bottles & milk jugs 
    • PLASTIC BOTTLES & JUGS Only - no other types of plastic.
    • HINT: Only plastic bottles/jugs with an opening smaller than the base
    • NO TUBS, NO CLAMSHELLS, NO RIGID PLASTIC, NO LIDS
    • Lids should be removed and discarded with normal trash
    • Empty and rinse containers.  Crush to save space. Put in bin loose.
    • NO BAGS!

4. Croyle Township - 1654 Railroad Street, Summerhill, PA 15958-Located at the Croyle Twp Municipal Building along Route 53. 

5. East Conemaugh Borough - 353 E. Railroad Street, East Conemaugh, PA 15909 Located on E. Railroad St. near the intersection with Davis St.

6. Ebensburg 1 (a.k.a. Manor Drive) - 120 Manor Drive, Ebensburg, PA - Located at the west end of Manor Drive next to Lions Ballpark near Lake Rowena/High St. intersection. 

7. Ebensburg 2 (a.k.a. PA DEP) - 286 Industrial Park Road, Ebensburg, PA 15931-Located in the Cambria County Industrial Park at the PA DEP garage. 

8. Ebensburg 3 (a.k.a. Authority Office) - 507 Manor Drive, Ebensburg, PA 15931 Note: only corrugated cardboard and office paper accepted at this location.

9. Hastings - 246 Coleman St., Hastings, PA 16646 - Located near the Hastings Fire Hall.

10. Lilly – 624 Evergreen St., Lilly, PA - Route 53 on the north side of Lilly near the borough line.

11. Loretto - 350 St. Joseph Street, Loretto, PA 15940. Located one block east of St. Mary Street on the south end of Loretto. 

12. Jackson Township - 513 Pike Road, Johnstown, PA 15909 Located near intersection of Pike Rd. & Rt. 271 in Mundy’s Corner adjacent to Jackson Twp building. 

13. Northern Cambria - 7 Cottonwood St, Northern Cambria, PA 15714 - Located next to the Giant Eagle parking lot. 

14. Patton – 800 4th Ave, Patton, PA 16668 Located behind the Patton Borough Building at 3rd and Magee Ave. 

15. Portage - 712 Mountain Avenue, Portage, PA 15946 – a.k.a. The road to Portage Area School District (behind S&T Bank).

16. Roxbury Park - approximate address is 114 Derby Street, Johnstown, Pa 15905 - Located at the Derby Street entrance to Roxbury Park in Johnstown (adjacent to Roxbury Creamery). 

17. Lower Yoder - approximate address is 9 D St., Johnstown, PA 15906 - Located next the little league ball field on D St. 

18. Richland Township at UPJ- 310 Highfield Drive, Johnstown, PA 15904 – Located at the University of Pittsburgh-Johnstown campus near the recreation center at the far end of Highfield Drive (Use UPJ main entrance, travel past Highlands CC, UPJ Physical Plant and UPJ PD, straight toward the white gate. At the white gate turn right to the recycling bins).
