- The Authority recycles electronics (TVs and computer equipment) from Cambria County residents M-F 9 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. only. Please call ahead to confirm availability. Those needing help unloading or with numerous items must call ahead. Unloading assistance fees and other fees may apply. Click below for a list of acceptable items and more.

- June 8 was the date for this year's Authority sponsored Household Hazardous Waste Event. Each spring residents can safely dispose of common household chemicals at this event for a small fee.

- The Cambria County solid Waste Authority is staffed by four full-time and one part-time employees which are overseen by a 7 member board of directors appointed by the Cambria County Commissioners. The CCSWA recycles over 2000 tons annually with a mission to prepare, implement and maintain a county plan to manage, through proper collecti

In keeping with this mission, each program conducted by the Authority aims to direct its resources toward maintaining and improving the quality of life in Cambria County .
