PA CLEANWAYS
SETS APPLIANCE & TIRE RECYCLING COLLECTION DATES
PA CleanWays, in conjunction with sponsoring municipalities, will
hold its annual
Appliance & Tire Recycling program this fall. All collections
will be held on Saturdays from
8 :00 AM to 1:00 PM. The dates and locations are:
September 20
• Cambria Township Municipal Building – From Rt 422,
turn onto Municipal Rd, go ¼ mile. Township building is on
left.
September 27
• Northern Cambria Borough - Parking lot near Park Avenue
Bridge near Football Stadium.
October 4
• Portage Township Municipal Building – From Portage,
turn left at “Y” on Rt 164 towards Martindale, go 1/8
mile, turn left. Township building is on left.
Costs:
$12.00 for Freon containing appliances
$6.00 for non-Freon containing appliances
Tires-passenger and light
truck :
$2.00—off rim
$3.00—on rim
